Fashion

A lifelong lover of fashion, I started my own boutique Aboriginal design label, Gantharri which was officially launched in May 2022 at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week in the finale show.

Meaning both "Queen Bee" and "Grandmother" in Ngarluma language, Gantharri is a labour of love, combining my passion for design with my flair for fashion and photography and is a tribute to my grandmother, the original Queen Bee. As the sole creative mind behind Gantharri, I pride myself on working on all aspects of the label, from the design to the clothing development and photography.

My fashion has become internationally renowned and showcased around the world, with Gantharri being worn on both the New York Fashion Week runway and Paris Fashion Week runway as well as in Australian runways Afterpay Australian Fashion Week, Karijini Runway and Country to Couture in Darwin.

In 2023 my design was worn by Miss Universe Australia Monique Riley to the international Miss Universe competition.

I also love working in fashion photography and have partnered with other labels to create campaign pieces and have photographed editorial imagery and magazine covers.
