Photography

Ever since I first picked up a camera I fell in love with photography - with the way I could capture a moment and hold the light, the colours, smiles and memories in my hand. My love for it quickly evolved to so much more than just the simple act of taking photos, but as a way to capture the raw beauty of Indigenous culture and to keep the beating heart of my culture alive. I also enjoy incorporating photography into my design and art, and love fashion photography and partnering with brands and magazines on cover shoots and editorials. I am an official creator for Nikon Australia and love capturing my stories and my culture through my lens.

I also work with brands on commercial photography, headshots, event photography and specialise in portrait and family photography. I love to create photo-journalistic style images and stylised imagery of First Nations people and families, as well as using the lens of my camera as a tool to share important pictures with the world and raise awareness of issues. In 2020, I created a Birthing on Country project to highlight and create awareness around birthing issues and outcomes in Aboriginal women and campaign for much-needed change.

As part of my branding and design process, I offer commercial photography of your workplace, products, services and creative headshots. My expertise in event photography helps me capture any event with confidence and a magical touch. I love working with my community and regularly partner with several local Port Hedland businesses and corporations.
